Get the Pro2 instead., September 5, 2011 This review is from: RollerMouse Free2, Black (Personal Computers) The ergo team at my work got this for me to use. I thought it was a huge improvement over a regular mouce. When I started working from home, I had to purchase my own. I got the Pro2 which is made by the same company but is so much better. This product the bar was exposed and would get grit on it I had to clean with dental floss. The Pro2 has a bar that is inclosed and is much better. This one if I rested my hands down on the pads, it would "click" the mouse. The Pro2 does not do that at all.
If you are spending the money, bypass this product and get the Pro2 instead for the same price. From someone who's used both, I highly recommend NOT getting this product.

Great for wrist but BAD for your thumb, August 30, 2011 By This review is from: RollerMouse Free2, Black (Personal Computers) This is an "ergonomic" keyboard aimed at people with wrist pain and carpal tunnel syndrome.
There is a bar on the top with a roller that simulates the movement of the mouse but with minimal movement of your wrist. The bar is quite accurate and you can control the sensitivity of it.
The setup allows you to control the mouse with either your left or right hand without issue.
There are also helpful buttons for double clicking and copy and past.
A single roller is in the center for scrolling. There are soft cushions for your wrists on both sides.
PROS:
1. Accurate mouse function. With a little practice you can move the cursor with minimal wrist strain and can click with the bar.
2. Double click button saves you from having to double click with the bar and makes you more accurate.
3. Worked seamlessly with Windows 7 and Vista without having to install any drivers.

Buyer Beware, June 30, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: RollerMouse Free2, Black (Personal Computers) If you are buying this because you bought the original Rollermouse free, you will be disappointed with this new version. It has a horrible problem with the roller bar. It is really hard to describe. I have the original Rollermouse, which is great, best mouse device I've ever had. This thing has a springing feeling to the roller bar that completely ruins it, Because of this, when you press on the roller bar, for a mouse click, often times it will move the mouse slightly away from what you are pointing at. It also requires more pressure on the roller bar to get it to click than the original device does. They really should stop selling these things until they fix these problems.
Update: I returned this item and the company was very good about it. They also stated that they are aware of the problem with the roller and are trying to do something to fix it. They really need to before selling anymore of these. The original is a great pointing device.
